I graduated from Tupelo High School in 1999! From there I went to East Central graduating with an Elementary Education degree in 2002. Since I’ve gone back to ECU earning a Reading Specialist Master’s degree in 2012.

I taught ½ year at Cottonwood before starting my career at Tupelo teaching 4th grade in 2003. I taught at Tupelo for 12 years teaching 4th, 5th, and 1st grade. I taught 1st grade and 3rd grade at Atoka Elementary for 4 years, then 4th grade at Stonewall Elementary for 2 years. I’m now back at Tupelo teaching 2nd grade and serving as the Reading Specialist.
I have also served as rehab specialist with Southern Oklahoma Family Services.
I have been married to my husband, Josh, for 20 years. We have 2 boys, Bentley and Peyton. Bentley is a college Freshman at Eastern Oklahoma State College where he is playing baseball and majoring in business. Peyton is Sophomore at Tupelo. Peyton plays baseball and basketball for the Tigers! We have a farm where we enjoy being in the hayfield and taking care of livestock. We have 3 dogs, Lexie, Cinnamon, and Darlin.
