Hello Everyone,

I need to clarify something that was in the press release yesterday on the Tyler Frizzell case.  It was stated that further information would be coming after the April 16th due process hearing for Tyler Frizzell.  That process hearing was for the board to hear the case then act on my recommendation to terminate his employment. 
Because we received a letter of resignation yesterday from Tyler Frizzell, that hearing will no longer be needed.   
Again, there will not be a due process hearing on April 16th because of the resignation of Tyler Frizzell.  Tyler Frizzell will officially no longer be employed by Tupelo Public Schools after the board accepts his resignation letter at a special board meeting Monday, April 14th.
