Tupelo Public School is pleased to announce the hiring of Mrs. Sarah Bills as the new 6-12 grade principal for the 2022-23 school year. Mrs. Bills is a 1999 graduate of Tupelo School. She has taught at Tupelo, Atoka, and Stonewall. She is certified in math and elementary, and has a masters in reading remediation and administration. Mrs. Bills is married to Josh Bills and has two children: Bentley is currently attending Eastern State College and Peyton will be a junior at Tupelo School. According to Mr. Kevin Mann, Tupelo School’s superintendent, Mrs. Bills was hired at the May 22 board meeting by an unanimous vote of the Tupelo Board of Education. Mann said, “Mrs. Bills is just what is needed at this time at Tupelo School. It is especially gratifying to be able to choose a principal who began her career at Tupelo as a student, then teacher and is now ready to advance to this important administrative position. I am confident that Mrs. Bills will be as successful as a principal as she has been as a teacher.”
