This is a two semester course that begins with Reconstruction (1865) and extends to modern day America. All students enrolled in this course will take the Oklahoma End-of-Instruction exam in the spring of enrollment.
This is a two semester course that covers ancient world history to present day. The first semester curriculum is an overview of ancient and middle ages history with the second semester consisting of the study of modern history.
MEDIA PRODUCTIONS & COMMUNICATIONS
Media Productions & Communications class is a "real world", two semester class. Students learn about different modes of communications and forms of media while incorporating those skills into communication and media production projects.
Yearbook class is a "real world" class. As staff members, the students learn: to manage deadlines, proofread and edit, create, raise funds, perform basic photo editing, operate cameras, and organizational skills. By the end of the second semester, the yearbook is created and funds have been raised to pay for it.
